Support Worker
Location Stoke on Trent
Pay Rate £11.59 per hour

About The Service
London Road is located in ST1 is a shared accommodation, supporting 4 young adults between 16-24-year olds, with Complex Mental Health, past trauma’s and eating disorders, these individuals would like someone who has a lot of patience and understanding. They require 24/7 care. These individuals would like to achieve accessing the community, attending appointments and daily living skills.
Due to the nature of the role and environment we can only consider female applicant.
Support Worker Key Skills
- Experience in a Caring environment essential
- Administration skills required
- Flexi to work shifts over, weekends, bank holidays on a 5-day working week basis
- Outgoing person
- Experience working in a Mental Health Environment
- Able to offer Financial Support to persons
- Good communication skills, allowing you to engage & interact with our Service Users
- Ability to keep calm under pressure

What we do!
We are a well-established, nationwide healthcare provider. Our homes are Specialist Mental Health Services and established, offering adults person-centred care. We carefully develop and adapt homes to meet the varying needs of adults with mental health needs. The services are carefully located within thriving communities, offering a variety of educational, recreational and social activities.
We provide a positive impact on the service experience of people with mental health difficulties who may be experiencing emotional distress. This primarily involves support using a person-centred approach. Our Support Workers measure outcomes specifically to an individual’s needs and evidence using our person-centred outcome-measuring tool.
Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment, the disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
