🧠 Your Role as a Support Worker

- Support people to build life skills and greater independence
- Be a calm, consistent presence during the night
- Assist with evening routines, personal care, and safety checks
- Keep care records up to date and follow support plans
- Offer reassurance and support through active listening and presence
- Foster genuine connections through empathy and understanding
- Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour
- Excellent communication skills—both spoken and written
- A calm, caring, and patient nature
- Ability to work confidently independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, flexible, and compassionate approach
