Our Learning Disabilities services assist clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We require enthusiastic, caring individuals to take them out on countryside drives, shopping and bowling. We have a variety of shifts including earlies, lates, weekends and sleep ins.
As a Support Worker, you will provide high quality care and support to our clients to enable them to live their best life. You will be passionate in making a difference to our client’s lives, helping them to fulfil their aspirations and ambitions. It is essential to have manual UK driving license.

Main duties of the job
The role is to support a client living in his own home with daily life skills and activities, helping him maintain a clean, tidy living environment and sustain his tenancy.
Responsibilities include maintaining and updating support plans, risk assessments, medication records, and financial documentation, as well as accompanying and assisting the client with healthcare appointments.
Staff are also responsible for administering and accurately recording medication, keeping records up to date, and preparing some meals.
You will also work collaboratively with other professionals involved in the client’s care to ensure a coordinated and effective support approach.

- Support individuals with learning disabilities to develop daily living skills, increase independence, and participate in meaningful activities.
- Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment, including tenancy responsibilities.
- Maintain and update support plans, risk assessments, medication records, and financial documentation.
- Administer and accurately record medication in line with policies and procedures.
- Support with meal planning, preparation, and cooking.
- Accompany and assist individuals to healthcare appointments and community activities.
- Promote choice, dignity, and respect in all aspects of care and support.
- Work in partnership with families, carers, and other professionals involved in the person’s care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records of all support provided.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times.
