What Youll Do
- Support people with learning disabilities in their daily lives and routines
- Assist with personal care and medication, including bathing and dressing
- Help with finances and everyday tasks like shopping and bill payments
- Encourage independence and social inclusion by supporting community activities and groups
- Use Positive Behaviour Support strategies to enhance quality of life
- Build trusting, meaningful relationships based on empathy and respect
- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings, weekends, and overnight
- A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude
- Willingness to register with NISCC and undergo an enhanced Access NI check
- Cityside: 1 x 24-hour part-time contract
- Waterside: 1 x 23-hour flexible contract, and 1 x 23-hour waking night contract
- Day Shifts: 7:00am 11:00pm
- Night Shifts: 9:00pm 9:00am (Rota prepared 4+ weeks in advance to support your work/life balance)
