This is a rewarding and varied role where youll support individuals with a range of needs. From personal care and manual handling to getting involved in the activities they love, youll play a key role in promoting independence, wellbeing, and choice.
Whats Involved
- Personal care and manual handling support
- Working with people with different needs such as PEG feeding and epilepsy
- Supporting with daily routines
- Accompanying individuals on trips and activities they enjoy
- Supporting individuals in managing behaviours that may be challenging, using person-centred and positive support (PBS) approach
- Cinema and shopping trips
- Visits to leisure centres, gyms, and sensory spaces
- Occasional weekends away
- Flexible working with part-time roles available
- A variety of shifts, including weekends and waking nights
- Shift patterns vary and flexibility is essential
- All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
