We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Chartered Surveyor to join our dynamic commercial Valuation & Advisory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality valuation services across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, supporting clients in Bristol, the South West, and Wales. This role offers a blend of office-based work and field inspections, with opportunities to contribute to strategic advisory projects.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Red Book valuations for a range of non-specialist commercial property types including retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use assets.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports for banks, investors, developers, and corporate clients.
- Conduct market research and analysis to support valuation assumptions.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market trends and regulatory changes.
- Assist in business development activities and contribute to the growth of the Valuation & Advisory business.
- Ensure compliance with RICS standards and internal quality assurance procedures.
Requirements
Essential:
- Recently MRICS qualified with post-qualification experience in commercial property valuation.
- Proven track record of delivering Red Book valuations.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
Desirable
- Experience with development appraisals and investment fund valuations.
- Working knowledge of Argus Enterprise valuation software.
- Knowledge of the wider South West and South Wales property markets.
