Bouygues UK are currently looking to recruit a
Sustainability Advisor based in
London to join our Climate and Environment team, which oversees our corporate strategy and supports and monitors all our projects in the South of England
The
Sustainability Advisor will be supporting the project teams in reaching a range of environmental ambitions at various stages of our projects. From Pre-construction to post-completion and throughout a variety of developments, you will be the main point of contact to deliver sustainability certifications like BREEAM, WELL, HQM as well as ensure our 5 pillars are progresses in adequation with our ambitions: Carbon, Energy and Water, Waste and Materials, Biodiversity and Ecosystems, Higher Standards and Collaboration. Our diverse and dynamic team plays a pivotal role in the Business key objectives on its road to
Net Zero. You will have to show excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy in daily activities and a strong interest into sustainability in the built environment.
Experience
- Experience in Sustainability Advisory/Management in the construction industry
- Auditing and reporting skills
- Bachelor’s degree (as a minimum) in an environmental discipline

The Typical Aspects Of Your Role Will Consist Of
- Act as main point of contact on all things environmental sustainability for identified themes and projects
- Support the in-house delivery of sustainability assessments
- Undertake periodic inspections and audits to ensure our projects are on track
- Undertake regular project KPI analysis and carry out internal reporting
- Produce appropriate sustainability submissions for bids and/or review consultant’s sustainability submissions and amend as necessary
- Support our internal and external communications with content creation on best practices on environmental matters
- Contribute to upskilling by delivering trainings, workshops or dedicated sessions to staff members
