Sustainability Analyst (9 month fixed-term contract)
Division: People & Sustainability
Key Relationships: Sustainability team, Climate Risk Working Group (CRWG), Investor Relations, Facilities Management, Risk & Compliance, Procurement, Finance, Investments, Internal Communications and Underwriting and Claims teams.
Job Summary: This is a 9 month fixed-term contract working closely with the Head of Sustainability and Sustainability Manager proving insight and analytics to deliver Beazley’s sustainability strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of the ESG referral inbox responding to referrals by underwriters providing ESG reports and confirming eligibility of additional insurance capacity. Escalating to the Sustainability Manager and Head of Sustainability where necessary
- Support the wider sustainability team with reporting and disclosure requirements
- Support with the implementation of a carbon accounting platform
- Support with the gathering of case studies for the annual report and sustainability report
- Contribute to the development of Beazley’s transition plan
- Support with the activities of the environmental committee to drive employee engagement in sustainability working closely with the wider sustainability team
- Support the delivery of better data quality for sustainability reporting, including those required for carbon emission portfolio analysis

- Experience processing data within a corporate setting
