SUSTAINABILITY COORDINATOR – PART TIME

Your Role: Sustainability Coordinator
As a Sustainability Coordinator at Global, you’ll support the delivery of our environmental sustainability initiatives. Working closely with the Senior Sustainability Manager, you’ll gather and manage sustainability data, support reporting obligations and prepare communication materials that showcase our progress on carbon reduction, resource efficiency and our journey to net zero. This part-time role (3 days a week) offers a unique opportunity to grow your sustainability experience while working across Global’s diverse portfolio - radio, outdoor, events and digital - and contributing to the environmental performance of one of the UK’s leading media and entertainment groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Sustainability data and reporting (35%): Gather, manage, and analyse sustainability data from across our UK and European businesses, including energy, waste, and carbon emissions. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders and support Global’s mandatory and voluntary reporting.
- Client and partner communications (30%): Support responses to advertiser and partner sustainability queries, including RFPs and contract reporting requirements. Prepare compelling presentations and case studies that showcase Global’s environmental initiatives, achievements, and progress.
- Programme coordination & internal engagement (35%): Help deliver environmental projects and staff engagement campaigns, for example through our Green@Global committee. Provide administrative support for and liaise with departments across Radio, Outdoor and Events to promote sustainable operations across our UK and European businesses.

What Success Looks Like
In your first few months, you’ll have:
- Developed a good understanding of the business and key contacts across the company
- Taken ownership of sustainability data collection, tracking and insights
- Built communication and presentation materials for partners and clients to showcase sustainability initiatives at Global
- Supported the Green@Global Committee in an internal engagement campaign
What You’ll Need
- Strong organisational and time management skills: with the ability to prioritise and deliver multiple, varied work streams
- A degree in an environment/sustainability related field - or be currently studying for one!
- Relevant work experience in sustainability/environment: which could include internships, university placements, graduate scheme or role in a company
- Data management skills: an ability to work through and standardise large datasets, excel proficiency desirable
- Confident communicator: both written and verbal, with the ability to explain environmental concepts to a non-expert, commercial audience
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation building skills: to make sustainability exciting to a variety of audiences and to land messages well to various stakeholders
- Enthusiasm: curiosity, and solution-oriented mindset, with a desire to make a difference
