The Role :
As a Sustainability Data Harmonization Expert, you will play critical role in standardizing and integrating sustainability data from diverse sources (customer and third-party suppliers) to ensure consistency, accuracy, and comparability. You will also help the customer (consumer electronics device maker) to create a unified and consistent view of diverse source data for effective reporting, performance evaluation, and informed decision-making regarding sustainability initiatives. Moreover, the expert needs to have solid technological knowledge to be able to seamlessly connect cloud-based applications with existing on-premises enterprise systems.
Key responsibilities:
• Identify all data needs and structure including all variations across suppliers and supply chain.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including developers, business analysts, and architects, to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Identify all outputs required from Customer to regulatory (EU, Country). Harmonize data structure to be comprehensive across all variations.
• Identify customer’s internal reporting requirements.
• Conduct RFP Creation and Approval.
• Be responsible for RFP Submission and Responses.
• Create a Short List or Demo as a third-party assessment.
• Be responsible for the final selection and PO.
• Own the final process, data flows, and reporting scope for third-Party and Customer Solution Architecture.
• Work on Implementation Plan and Implement Solution.
Your Profile Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
• Proficiency with integrating platforms.
• Understanding APIs and web services.
• Experience with message brokers. • Familiarity with data formats.
• Knowledge of database systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Understanding of European product related compliance landscape (PFAS, Product materials compliance, etc.) to ensure that materials used in products meet all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including safety, environmental, and ethical standards.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
