Whether you're a new graduate, at the start of your sustainability journey, or returning from a career break, this internship is the perfect stepping stone into a future in environmental and ESG leadership.
🔍 What You’ll Do
Join us in supporting the delivery of the Pilgrim’s Europe Sustainability Strategy, with a strong focus on carbon footprint analysis. As a Sustainability Intern, you’ll collaborate closely with experts across the business, contributing to projects that shape our ESG reporting and performance.
- You’ll gain hands-on experience with:
- Analysing Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon footprint data across our European operations.
- Aligning ESG reporting methodologies across departments.
- Reviewing and suggesting improvements to ESG frameworks and disclosures.
- Producing high-quality sustainability reports, presentations, and stakeholder updates.
- Supporting governance, assurance, and compliance with ESG regulations.
- Horizon scanning for trends and regulatory developments in sustainability.
🎓 What You Bring
- Working towards (or recently completed) a degree in Sustainability, Finance, Maths, Compliance, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Some understanding of ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting standards.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- A proactive, curious mindset and a willingness to collaborate across teams.
- Travel may be required across Pilgrim’s Europe sites.
