About The Role (FTC 12 Months)
The Sustainability Reporting Manager will lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the Group’s ESG and non-financial reporting strategy. This role ensures compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks, enables robust stakeholder disclosure and supports internal delivery of our 2030 sustainability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the accurate and timely collection of sustainability data and commentary from across the Group throughout the year, maintaining internal dashboards for senior leaders
- Embed a robust controls framework and culture for sustainability metrics, and one of continuous improvement
- Lead preparation of the annual sustainability/non-financial disclosures (e.g., Sustainability Section of the Annual Report & public sustainability data book) liaising with all relevant departments to prepare commentary
- Ensure alignment of public reporting with relevant frameworks such as TCFD, GRI, ISSB, UK SRS, and ESRS.
- Deliver the third-party assurance program for key non-financial metrics, managing relationship with providers and ensuring information requests and deadlines are met
- Support timely completion of investor and rating agency disclosures (e.g.CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics).
- Develop relevant Ocado Group reporting policies, procedures and manuals
- Monitor regulatory developments (UK, EU, global), and prepare briefing notes and response strategies for emerging sustainability disclosure standards.
About You
- Qualified Accountant
- Passion for Sustainability
- Experience of preparing information for Annual Sustainability reports
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders who are not accountants
- Experience in a fast-paced, high growth, multi-national corporation
- Experience of applying sustainability reporting standards including GRI, TCFD, ISSB and ESRS
