Syndicate Accountant

We are currently working with a London Market Insurer on hiring a Syndicate Accountant on a permanent basis. This is replacing an internal promotion so they can offer newly qualified or finalist excellent progression.

• Responsible for all Lloyd's returns for the syndicate (QMA/QMB/QSR etc)
• Statutory accounts for the syndicate under UK GAAP
• You will be involved in the planning for the syndicate and working with the business to provide commentary and analysis on the results
• They are always undergoing projects that you will be involved improving processes and controls

This is a great opportunity to join a high performing finance team who are passionate about developing their people. What you will you need:

• Newly qualified or finalist (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
• You will need to have experience with Syndicate Accounting either in industry or audit
• Strong financial accountants from insurance who want to move into Syndicate can also be considered)

You will be on a salary of £60,000-£65,000 + bonus + benefits depending on experience
