System Admin
Are you passionate about continuous improvement and using technology to create positive outcomes? We're looking for a technically-minded and proactive individual to join our IT team as a System Admin – helping to enhance existing systems to benefit both colleagues and our members.

As a System Admin, you’ll take ownership of enhancing our core systems and integrations – ensuring they’re well maintained, better utilised, and continuously improved to support operational excellence and outstanding member experiences.
What you'll be doing
As part of our friendly and forward-thinking IT and Change team, you’ll:
• Take existing systems and seek out opportunities for improvement, automation, and integration
• Design and deliver in-house and third-party technical solutions that improve system performance and colleague experience
• Support key applications and critical system integrations to ensure stability and efficiency
• Act as an escalation point for technical issues raised via our Service Desk, working with internal teams and external suppliers
• Ensure robust documentation, governance and change control for all solutions and updates
• Translate technical issues into clear business context, supporting stakeholders in decision-making
• Proactively contribute to projects and change initiatives to help the Society meet its strategic goals
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who is:
• Passionate about using technology to improve how we work and serve our members
• Organised and analytical, with a keen eye for detail
• Experienced in managing or supporting core systems in a regulated environment
• Able to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
• Confident working both independently and in collaboration with others
• Comfortable working in hybrid environments (cloud/on-premise), with a willingness to learn and develop
It would be great if you also have:
• Basic understanding of SQL, networking, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Experience using coding or scripting tools such as PowerShell or Python
• Familiarity with IT security processes and system architecture
• A strong sense of initiative and a continuous improvement mindset
• Experience working in small, agile teams and with third-party technology suppliers
