Description

System Administrator - 12 month contract (inside IR35) - Belfast - must hold current SC Clearance

Our client is in need of a System Administrator who will be responsible for Installation and management of Linux operating systems and related software stacks for various services to meet the client requirements. You must hold current active SC level security clearance

Key Skills:

Operating Systems : VMWare and LINUX/RedHat
Storage : Dell Powermax, Vplex, Isilon, eNAS, Cisco/Brocade SAN switch
Backup: EMC Data domain, Networker, ECS

You will be responsible for:

Monitoring components of Storage systems including volumes, LUNs, disk and logs.
For complete Incident, Change Management, Problem Management and Capacity planning.
Should be able to plan and execute Disaster recovery.
Backup management and health checks
Monitor backup jobs, schedules and relevant logs and ensure successful backups.
Storage health checkup.
Performance monitoring of the storage arrays through console.
Controller mirroring configuration status from console.
Troubleshooting.
