Systems Engineering Delivery Lead

Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.

Opticore IT are currently searching for a Systems Engineering Delivery Lead to drive all programmes within our clients systems engineering team which support our datacentres, compute, hypervisor, O/S and storage team.

You'll join our excellent team, based in the London area, on an initial 6-month contract, inside IR35, with scope to extend. Requiring 2 days a week in our client's HQ in the Central London area.

What you'll be doing:

• Driving all programmes within our systems engineering team which support our datacentres, compute, hypervisor, O/S and storage team.
• Programmes include modernisation initiatives, EOL / EOS remediation and capacity expansions and cloud migrations
• Driving multiple teams in multiple geographies and ensuring projects are delivered to time and on budget.

What you'll bring:

• Has strong experience managing systems engineering projects (see above for specific technologies)
• Preferably has come from a technical background in any of the above technologies.
• Has strong experience driving teams across multiple geographies with resources with competing priorities
• Is able to communicate and manage risks effectively.
