Systems Implementation Manager (iTrent / People First)
Fixed term for 9 months Hours: 35 hours per week Salary: Grade 7 £42,766 - £46,299 per annum (Starting salary commences at £42,766) Location: City Campus
Were introducing a brand-new integrated HR system (People First) and were looking for a talented and motivated Systems Implementation Manager to make it happen.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive and dynamic HR team, where youll play a central role in shaping the future of how HR, Payroll, and Organisational Development work together across the College. Youll be the driving force behind the project, from planning and configuration through to go-live and embedding, ensuring a smooth transition and long-term success.

What Were Looking For
- Proven project leadership experience of delivering system implementations or major rollouts (HR/Payroll systems experience would be a bonus)
- A project managers mindset organised, deadline-focused, and able to keep things moving.
- HR know-how good understanding of HR, Payroll and/or Organisational Development processes.
- People skills confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical detail into clear, simple language.
- Problem-solving ability comfortable with data, detail, and finding practical solutions.
- A positive, can-do approach able to influence, build trust, and encourage adoption of new ways of working.
