We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Systems Integration Lead, to be involved in industry leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of power station.
The Lead Systems Integration Engineer will lead and manage large scale work packages that deliver the Systems Engineering Capability of Rolls-Royce SMR.
Systems Engineering is integral to the development of a fleet of Rolls-Royce SMRs and form a cornerstone of our engineering development framework. The successful candidate will lead a team to define, deliver and implement significant aspects of this framework (such as Design Iterations, MBSE, Requirements Management) which are key to both our short and long term success.
- Overcome significant ambiguity and complexity to proactively deliver high impact Systems Engineering deliverables to the business (across areas such as Design Iterations, Requirements Management, MBSE).
- Ensure stakeholder management throughout work packages and ensure adoption of output across the business across a large volume of Engineers with a variety of backgrounds
- Integrate people, information and tools across engineering and the wider business.
- Leadership of a team of Systems Engineers to deliver robust outcomes at pace.

Key Selection Criteria
- Systems Integration Experience - Demonstrable understanding of applying a systems engineering approach to safety critical system design.
- Leadership and Influencing Skills - Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and coaching characteristics with experience of influencing large design teams to adopt new approaches.
- Systems Engineering Framework and Toolset Experience - Experience utilising any of the following - MBSE, Requirements Management, Customer interface management and understanding and implementation of design iterations.
Pay And Benefits
We anticipate paying a salary of between £57,600 - £75,600 DOE plus:-
- Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 12.5%
- Benefits Allowance – £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package
- Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
- Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.
- Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care
- Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
- £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
