£31,549 – £33,126 + benefits

London-based employees receive an additional £3,217 London weighting.

A £312 tax-free working from home allowance is also payable annually.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Adviser to join our growing HR team. This is an exciting time to join us as we expand our workforce and transform how we attract and hire exceptional talent.

The Electoral Commission is the UK’s independent regulator of elections and political finance. As we deliver our new Corporate Plan, including a 40% increase in headcount, a new pay structure and performance-based progression, this role will be critical in building a workforce that reflects and serves our democracy.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns across a diverse range of roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to design roles, build attraction strategies and deliver inclusive, skills-focused hiring
  • Champion candidate experience and ethical recruitment practice
  • Support talent pipeline development, early careers programmes and outreach activity
  • Contribute to strategic workforce planning and recruitment improvement initiatives


Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong track record in in-house recruitment (agency-only experience will not be considered)
  • Able to manage multiple campaigns and build trusted stakeholder relationships
  • Skilled in using applicant tracking systems (iTrent experience desirable)
  • Passionate about fair, inclusive and bias-free hiring
  • Insightful, improvement-focused and able to contribute ideas
