Your role:
As our HR team continues to grow, we are adding an additional role as Talent Acquisition Partner to support the continuous and exciting growth goals of our fast-paced SaaS company. For this role there is a particular focus on hiring and headhunting in the Software Engineering and Technical field.
Your primary contribution will be to help drive Global Relay’s recruitment efforts within Engineering. Although you are comfortable working as an individual team member, you like the idea of working as part of a highly collaborative team.
Talent Acquisition duties:
- Drives high volume full cycle recruitment of top talent by coordinating the full recruiting and selection process, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Driver of Global Relay’s headhunting efforts.
- Identifies target companies, user groups, professional associations to help inform search parameters that could lead to qualified candidates.
- Uses networking opportunities such as local community groups or professional associations to identify referrals for qualified candidates.
- Has thorough knowledge of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensures it is always kept up to date.
- Drives candidate screen process and interviews job applicants to obtain and verify information used for screening and evaluation.
- Communicates recruitment efforts with external recruitment agencies.
- Ensures all reference checks are completed as part of compliance.
- Ensures the established corporate recruitment process is communicated effectively and adopted consistently.
- Establishes effective sourcing methods and drives talent awareness through professional networking and referrals.
- Compiles recruitment status reports and metrics as required.
- Ensures compliance with Global Relay hiring policies, practices and Company values.
- Owner of the organization and represents Global Relay at recruitment-related events such as Company open houses, industry networking events, information sessions, and career fairs at various academic institutes.
- Develops and maintains strong and effective working relationship with hiring managers and leadership.
- Represents Global Relay in a professional manner during communication with internal managers and external candidates.
General duties and responsibilities:
- Assists in driving strategic HR initiatives, including research & recommendation, and participation in the implementation and maintenance of initiatives.
- Provides support and performs routine tasks associated with HR projects.
- Provides support to employees and managers on topic of recruitment; escalates issues to Talent Acquisition Lead or Head of HR as required.
- Acts as escalation point for questions from a variety of areas such as recruitment procedures and processes and daily recruitment activities/issues.
- Assists in preparing and updating all HR recruitment documentation as required.
- Assists in organizing and prioritizing a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable Global Relay guidelines, policies, procedures, and standards are maintained.
- Provides guidance and mentorship to others on the team.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in direct sourcing; previous work experience in the high-tech software/SaaS industry preferred with a focus on Software Engineering hires.
- Strong time management skills with initiative to learn.
- Knowledge of HR standards and best practices.
- Working experience with an Applicant Tracking System, ideally Greenhouse; advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Proven ability to build trust with all levels of employees within the organization.
- Keen attention to detail with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong and precise communicator with strong business acumen.
- Solid project management experience and comfortable working with moving timelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and with a team.
- Flexibility and demonstrated ability to take initiatives; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
