What youll do
Were looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to join the Talent Attraction team in our busy HR department on a permanent basis. Youll be a key member of the team in delivering an effective service to hiring managers and external candidates, ensuring the efficient delivery of a broad range of Talent Attraction administration.
The Talent Attraction team provides an essential function to recruiting the right people into the firm. As a key member of the team, youll often be the first point of contact for external candidates, ensuring you provide a friendly and welcoming impression of Ashfords from the start. Youll assist with all of the administrative aspects of the recruitment process, including arranging interviews, liaising with candidates and hiring managers for availability and issuing contracts and paperwork to successful candidates; remaining as that consistent face throughout the process.
A huge part of your remit will be to ensure that the recruitment system is up to date involving uploading CVs for offline candidates, moving candidates through necessary stages of the recruitment process, sending rejection / offer messages, assisting in initial sifting of junior roles and uploading new job roles. Youll also be responsible for managing the Talent Attraction inbox, being the first line of response for all general Talent Attraction enquiries.
Youll get to be involved in supporting the administration in our early careers space, including our apprenticeship schemes, work experience placements and our trainees within the firm; broadening your knowledge and offering key support for these great initiatives throughout the team.
As a Talent Attraction Administrator, youll be joining a friendly HR department and have the chance to collaborate with other sub-teams in the department as and when required; meaning lots of scope to further your understanding of all facets of the HR function and collaborate with different members of the team.
Who You Are
You will be someone who relishes any opportunity to solve a problem and improve efficiencies, so reviewing processes and making full use of available systems will form part of your natural approach to working. You will also be highly-organised and comfortable with the prospect of prioritising a varied workload to ensure that were providing an efficient service to Ashfords people. A positive, can-do attitude is therefore key!
The Talent Attraction team work very closely with one another, so it is extremely important that you are a team-player, who is willing to get stuck in to a variety of tasks and projects. You will not be afraid to contribute creative ideas and suggestions in a team setting.
You will already have some administrative experience, preferably in a professional services setting, and you will be eager to join a friendly and supportive team and kick start your career in recruitment and HR.
