The Role
Entry level role in premium taxes supporting the preparation of non-complex premium tax returns for various jurisdictions worldwide and the provision of responsive support on straight-forward premium tax queries.
Principal Accountabilities
- Compile data and prepare premium tax returns for a number of territories.
- Prepare market collection schedules.
- Prepare payment authorisations.
- Develop knowledge of premium tax rules for the countries for which you administer taxes and a working knowledge for other countries as appropriate
- Deal with non-complex telephone and email queries from managing agents, brokers and underwriters
- Assist with audits and project based work as needed
Skills
- Data analysis skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of excel
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to multi-task and solve straightforward problems
- Enthusiasm for developing tax technical and industry knowledge
- Willingness to support with administrative tasks
