Who are we looking for?

A professional with experience in Corporate Tax. You will be an organised, meticulous individual who thrives in working in an ever-changing environment.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

Key responsibilities and tasks include:

• Preparation of all UK companies tax computations and returns using Alphatax
• Supporting the tax provision process for half year and year end reporting which is under IFRS, including liaising with external auditors
• Supporting the process for quarterly tax payments
• Supporting the quarterly VAT submissions
• Partnering with local finance teams across UK and Europe, ensuring accurate tax accounting entries for group reporting and local entities, including corporation tax, transfer pricing, VAT, R&D tax credits, patent box and other ad hoc matters as required.
• Providing support to UK and European finance teams on tax compliance matters.
• Supporting tax governance frameworks including SAO and CCO

What you’ll need:

• CTA/ATT/ACCA/ACA qualification
• Strong corporate tax background
• Previous experience as a Tax Accountant in a UK business – bonus points if there is an international presence
• Great interpersonal skills, and an ability to work on your own.
• Excellent Business Partnering skills and ability to work with people of all levels.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Adept at dealing with change and ambiguity.
• Alphatax experience (or a similar system)

This role requires hybrid working from our Newbury Office maximum 3 days per week.
