Tax Manager

Our client is looking for a Direct Tax Manager to join their collaborative and fast-paced finance team - someone who's not only technically sharp, but also thrives on adding value, solving problems, and influencing change across a global organisation.

This is your chance to step into a high-visibility role with real impact - from handling quarterly US GAAP tax provisions to liaising with HMRC and supporting Lloyd's of London tax submissions. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, external auditors, and advisors, gaining exposure across a wide range of corporate tax matters.

🌍 What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the preparation of quarterly tax provisions under US GAAP
• Drafting UK statutory tax disclosures
• Managing corporate tax computations and filings, and assisting on related matters
• Supporting Lloyd's of London tax requests and submissions
• Acting as a key liaison with HMRC, internal teams, auditors, and external advisors
• Assisting with FATCA processes and UK Tax Residence certification
• Providing technical tax insight on ad hoc projects and initiatives

🎓 Your Background

• Qualified accountant or tax professional (e.g. ACA / ACCA / CTA)
• UK tax compliance experience - essential
• Experience with insurance or Lloyd's market - nice to have, not essential
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
