  • Develop and monitor the group’s SAO compliance framework, embedding strong processes and controls with clear documentation.
  • Own the Group Finance & Tax Manual, ensuring accurate and up-to-date reporting standards.
  • Prepare draft CT computations, statutory disclosures, tax provisioning, and deferred tax calculations.
  • Review reports and submissions prepared by the Tax Accountant, including VAT filings, and oversee accurate payments.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors to ensure efficient and timely submissions.
  • Oversee reviews of capital expenditure and R&D relief claims, ensuring the business maximises opportunities.
  • Use PX Cube (VAT reporting tool) to analyse tax trends and strengthen submission reviews.
  • Provide tax input on business initiatives, transactions, and projects to support decision-making.
  • Coach and develop junior members of the Finance team through effective delegation, review, and feedback.

  • Proven presence to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded, able to link tax to business performance, efficiency, and growth.
  • Highly organised with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to process improvements.
