Foundation Learning Teacher Johnston C.P. School
Johnston Primary School is seeking a full-time teacher to join our vibrant school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic and reflective practitioner. You will join us at a time of exciting development at Johnston, as we continue to develop our knowledge-rich, evidence informed curriculum.
Johnston is a friendly and welcoming school, committed to excellent care for our pupils and high-quality professional development for our staff. You will have the immediate benefits of joining a committed, collaborative, and dedicated staff team, working in state-of-the-art premises opened in January 2017. The school has around 270 pupils, including 24 pupils with complex needs, who attend the learning resource centre in a well-resourced learning environment.
The Governing Body is seeking an inspirational individual to work as part of the Foundation Learning team.
We are looking for someone who meets the person specification in the job description and who:
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record.
- Is passionate and knowledgeable about children's learning and development, and applies that knowledge in the classroom to secure the best progress possible for all learners.
- Has a detailed knowledge and understanding of pedagogy.
- Will model and possess the skills and experience to manage a small team.
