About The Role
As a Teaching Assistant at Brighton College Prep Kensington, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for our youngest learners. Working closely with the Room Leader and Head of Early Years, you’ll support children both 1:1 and in groups, helping them to meet their emotional, social, and academic milestones. From assisting with lesson delivery and daily routines to preparing resources and supporting after-school activities, your input will be central to the daily life of our school. You’ll also help maintain engaging displays, ensure the learning spaces are clean and safe, and work collaboratively with parents and staff to promote each child's wellbeing.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a proposed start date after the October 2025 half-term break.

Who we are looking for:
You are a caring, proactive team player with a TA Level 3 qualification or above (essential), strong GCSEs in English and Maths and previous experience supporting young children. You communicate clearly and confidently, are discreet with sensitive information, and understand how to support a child’s development in a school setting. You’re happy to get involved in all aspects of school life – from snack time to sports day – and you approach your work with energy, reliability, and a sense of humour. If you’re passionate about helping children thrive and eager to grow in a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
