Teaching Assistant (The Arch Cognition and Learning Hub)
Contract: Part-time, Permanent - 35 hours per week/ 38 weeks per year
Salary: Grade 3, SP 7-10 (FTE: £25,583 - £27,269 / Actual: £20,235 - £21,568 per annum)
Start date: November 2025
Castle Manor Academy is seeking to appoint a committed Teaching Assistant to support learning across Years 7 to 11, both in the classroom, and in small group interventions within our specialist Cognition and Learning Hub The Arch. Applicants would be required to have achieved at least a C grade in GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent, and have previous experience of working with children with additional needs, ideally in a secondary school setting. Applicants will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, enjoy working with children, and, at all times, demonstrate our PROUD values: Professional, Resilient, Optimistic, Understanding and Driven. This role can be an excellent platform to gain experience prior to teacher training or to gain experience for specialist roles as well as develop within the role.
