Actual salary - £25,279 - £26,807 including support staff SEN allowance. Term time only.
Due to an increase in our pupil roll we are looking for a number of enthusiastic and lively teaching assistants to work with pupils who have physical and communication difficulties. The roles involve support in the classroom and a high level of physical work and personal care of pupils. We have vacancies across the school – working with primary aged pupils with autism and pupils with complex physical and health needs in both our primary and secondary departments.
We have purpose designed buildings co-located with mainstream settings and are a very successful school, graded as “outstanding” by Ofsted. Candidates must have English and Maths GCSE Grade C or equivalent. Successful short-listed candidates will be asked to provide proof of these qualifications at interview or be prepared to sit an equivalency test during their probationary period. References will be requested during the shortlisting process, therefore it is imperative that candidates approach their referees in advance and provide up to date contact details. We will not shortlist if we are unable to obtain references.
