Team Administrator (Older Peoples Team)

Are you an organised, motivated and confident administrator with a passion for supporting essential social care services? Bedford Borough Councils Older Peoples Team is looking for a Team Administrator to provide vital administrative support to our dedicated Social Workers and Nurses.

What You Will Do

• Deliver efficient administrative and word processing support across the team.
• Organise meetings, venues and take minutes (especially for safeguarding meetings).
• Maintain and manage paper and digital case files in line with policy.
• Be the first point of contact for Older People Team clients and handling calls and messages professionally.
• Manage data entry, Excel records, holiday/sickness tracking, stationery supplies, invoices, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Input and compile information using the Councils customer database.
• Support with procurement in line with departmental financial procedures.
• Carry out requests set by the Team Manager and/or Advanced Practitioners.
