This is a varied and rewarding position at the heart of the business, ideal for someone who enjoys keeping a team running smoothly and takes pride in producing polished, professional work. You will be relied upon for accurate document production, consistent formatting, and efficient day‑to‑day coordination. For the right person, there is the opportunity to take on additional responsibility in supporting co-ordination across the regional administrative team, helping to organise workloads, share priorities and maintain effective communication, alongside the core administrative duties.

Team role
As part of the admin team, your role will involve supporting the delivery of administration duties for the wider office. You’ll have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive environment. You’ll be backed by our impressive statistics, exciting projects, and a caring culture.
Individual duties
Produce, type, and format a wide range of documents including reports, letters, schedules, specifications, and tender documents.
Reformat and standardise documents to meet company templates and industry requirements.
Prepare and compile professional document packs for clients, planning applications, tenders, and site reports.
Ensure all documents are proofread and accurate prior to issue.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and recorded deliveries.
Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring documents are correctly stored and easily retrievable.
Support project teams with general administrative tasks such as printing, scanning, binding, and archiving.
Assist with diary management, meeting arrangements, and room bookings as required.
Provide reception cover as required, managing visitors and handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a professional and welcoming manner..
Support the preparation and issue of client proposals, fee letters, and project documentation.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely distribution and receipt of documents.
Assist with maintaining a tidy, safe, and well‑organised office environment.
Support the wider team with ad hoc tasks and administrative projects when required.
Skills And Requirements
Strong typing and document formatting skills (Word, Excel, PDF editing).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiarity with document control or project administration.
Professional, discreet, and reliable.
Highly organised with a proactive approach.
Calm under pressure and able to adapt to changing priorities.
A team player who contributes positively to the working environment.
Knowledge of
Previous experience in a secretarial or administrative role, preferably within a professional services environment.
