About The Role
Balfour Beatty is looking for a proactive
Team Co-ordinator to support the
Lower Thames Crossing project. Working with Senior Project and Works Managers, you'll provide essential admin support including diary management, meeting coordination, travel booking, and documentation processing.
Balfour Beatty Highways maintain, manage and operate major highway networks across the UK and support local authorities creating communities where people want to live work and play.
We provide high quality asset strategy, management and planning consultancy services to a wide range of public and private sector customers. We provide specialist, reliable, sustainable and creative advice for asset management planning and implementation in the UK. We put our customers first and prioritise completing schemes safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
What you'll be doing
The
Lower Thames Crossing Project are seeking a
Team Co-ordinator to align with our Construction job families. Partnering with our Senior Project Manager(s) and Senior Works Manager.
- Minutes of meetings/photocopying/scanning/printing as required
- Holiday trackers for stakeholder
- Coordination of stakeholder’s documentation approval process eg. Timesheets and requisitions
- Meeting room bookings, arranging meetings, greeting visitors, deal with messages and enquiries
- Diary management and organisation of stakeholders
- Travel bookings eg. hotels, trains
- Adhoc assistance with general HR admin of stakeholders eg. raising Authority to Recruits, Employee Record Update Forms
- Assist in collation of reports and PowerPoint Presentations including but not limited to updating Org Charts for respecting discipline lead(s) as required
- Annual leave and emergency cover for line manager
- Support the work of other Project administrators during periods of absence or unexpectedly high volumes of work activity
Who we're looking for
- Highly motivated, proactive and hands on Team Co-ordinator
- Excellent Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills
- Experience in a PA / coordinator role
- Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team
- Organised with excellent timekeeping skills for themselves and others
- Advanced user of Microsoft, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Ability to engage and build effective relationships
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Possesses a high degree of attention to detail
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales
