This is a 2 year fixed-term role (pilot)
We’re excited to be opening a brand-new Children and Young People’s Safe Haven in Newcastle and Gateshead City Centres in January 2026, a warm, welcoming space where young people can get immediate support during times of mental health distress. This innovative service is a partnership between Everyturn Mental Health-Streetwise, and Children North East, and we’re looking for a passionate and motivated Team Lead to help lead and develop this project.
About the role
As Team Lead, you will drive the day-to-day delivery of the Safe Haven, ensuring young people receive safe, high-quality, and compassionate support. You’ll provide hands-on leadership, manage the staff team, oversee service performance, and work closely with partners across Everyturn Streetwise and CNE, to ensure the service runs smoothly. This is a brilliant opportunity to shape a brand-new service, influence local pathways, and create a supportive environment that genuinely changes outcomes for young people and families.
