About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Team Lead to oversee our Back Office Operations for a global financial services client in Nottingham. This hybrid role involves supporting service delivery, managing a small team, and driving process improvements in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery against client SLAs and internal KPIs
- Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve incidents and meet project deadlines
- Maintain and update operational procedures in line with compliance standards
- Conduct workforce and capacity planning to meet business needs
- Lead audits, risk management, and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
- Conduct regular team communications: huddles, 1:1s, and performance reviews
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and supportive team culture
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in back office or operational roles, ideally in financial services
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and high workloads
- Understanding of UK regulatory environment and data protection standards
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including performance and absence management
- Familiarity with customer service goals, systems, and incident management
