Team Lead to join our Insurance Operations team.
Location: This position will be based out of our

Role Purpose
The Operational Team Leader is responsible for leading, coaching, and supporting a team to deliver high-quality operational performance. This role ensures daily activities run smoothly, service levels are achieved, and continuous improvements are implemented across processes, people, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead, motivate, and support a team to meet operational KPIs.
- Deliver regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Create a positive, high-performance team culture with strong communication and accountability.
- Manage team rotas, attendance, and allocation of tasks to ensure adequate daily cover.
Operational Delivery
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure service levels and quality standards are consistently met.
- Deliver workflow, productivity, and process adherence.
- Handle complex issues, escalations, and decision-making to resolve operational obstacles.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Provide clear communication of team performance, risks, and improvement plans.
- Liaise with other parts of the business to support cross-functional operations.
Training & Development
- Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Ensure colleagues have the skills, knowledge, and tools needed to perform effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date team documentation, guidance, and training materials.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an operational, supervisory, or team-leader role.
- Proven track record of achieving KPIs and improving team performance.
- Experience in [industry-specific operations—optional].
