Team Leader
We are currently looking for Transfers Team Leader to join our Administration team in Darlington on a permanent basis. (Hybrid working)

The role
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the Transfer team and supporting our members with a variety of pension related services. You will ensure a “Member First” approach in all activities, applying operational best practice to build an effective and engaged team. You will also actively promote and champion the continuous improvement of operational processes and ways of working, always keeping the Member as the focus of all activity.
Within this role you will manage the allocation and prioritisation of work within the team, whilst supporting the recruitment and development of team members through the delivery of regular feedback and coaching, leading to the identification of training needs. Ensuring the completion of work is in a timely and high quality manner alongside adherence to regulatory and internal Railpen standards, is key for this role.

The person
The successful candidate you will have solid leadership and communication skills, be an effective coach and take an engaging and collaborative approach. You will effectively manager your team to ensure accurate and timely processing and checking member casework including complex cases and complaints, ensuring SLA's, member first measures and daily targets are met. You will ensure work is allocated effectively across the team and measure productivity daily in team huddles and using available MI. You will be the escalation point for complex cases, complaints and other pension administration issues. You will have the pensions technical knowledge and experience to support the team and make informed decisions.
