Are you a proactive leader with a passion for excellence? We are looking for an enthusiastic Ramp Team Leader to join our vibrant team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment while maintaining top-notch customer service in partnership with the Shift Team Leader and Duty Manager. Your responsibilities will include managing staff issues, consistently achieving SLA and OTP levels, and embracing and delivering dnata's Vision Mission and Value. Responsibilities:

  • Management of the day to day ramp operation
  • Meeting performance SLA's
  • Managing staff members including coaching, training and motivating.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the Ramp operation
  • Maintain a disciplined workforce
  • Manage health and safety within the workplace
  • Deal with staff issues on a day to day basis
  • Ensure staff and equipment are allocated to flights in a timely manner
  • Liaise with Customers
  • Compliance with all CAA & GAL Bye-laws
  • Attend operational meetings
  • Support the Ramp Manager in all areas of the business
  • Have an understanding of the requirements of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for pharmaceutical and medicinal products and the rules and regulations that affect dnata
  • Be aware of the role of the Responsible Person (RP) within the designated site for the handling of pharmaceutical and medicinal products under GDP processes
  • To undertake any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the grade of the post
  • Promote at all times the Vision, Mission, Values of dnata

Essential Requirements:

  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Full UK/EU driving licence – minimum 1 year's driving experience
  • Basic computer/system skills
  • Airport experience in a ramp and/or spur environment for a minimum of 6 months within the last 2 years (essential)
  • Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
  • Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report

Please note: This position is based on a fixed days shift pattern. While the specific days are yet to be confirmed, candidates must be available to work on a consistent schedule as required by the operation.
