This post is fixed term / secondment for 9 months due to meet the needs of the service.

An opportunity has arisen for a member of staff t o working in an integrated team closely with staff from other agencies to promote and maintain high standards of care for children and adolescents with learning disabilities / developmental delay and complex needs. The post holder will provide a high quality and evidence-based health services and be responsible for the effective team development and management required to achieve this.
Main duties of the job
Main duties will be to advise , provide a direct staff in how to proceed in the management of complex cases. Deliver high quality evidenced based clinical care. Take responsibility for ensuring appropriate allocations of referrals to clinical staff.
To carry out regular clinical and management supervision with staff within the professional group to ensure practice is safe. To engage with PADR reviews. To ensure team delivers a quality service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications And/or Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Relevant professional Qualification and active professional registration in health or social care related profession.
- Continued professional and management development.
- Relevant degree, or equivalent experience
- Recognised and relevant management qualification (must be achieved 1-2 years
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of mentoring
- Assessment and/or teaching
- Eligible to practice under the mental health measure Wales 2010 (includes mental health nursing, social work, psychology)
Experience
Essential criteria
- Management experience at band 6 or above.
- Relevant clinical experience.
- Child Protection/Safeguarding training at level 3.
- Service and/or policy development.
- Evidence of professional and personal development
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of financial management skills and ability
- Evidence of change management
