Job Duties
We are looking for a talented and experienced project manager in the risk technology space who can provide operational/service leadership and direction to team
- Planning & coordinating with involved stakeholders.
- Lead or participate in working groups, workshops and with stakeholders to understand business requirements, define project plans and manage timelines
- Impart subject matter expertise by providing guidance, support and constructive challenge on business initiatives to ensure alignment with program strategy
- Assist in ensuring that all target state tools, processes and controls are socialized effectively and are approved at or by the appropriate governance forum or level
- Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office and Technology teams
- Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMs
- Engage senior stakeholders continuously by escalating and resolving issues as they arise
- Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums and committees.
- Build strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach, to support the execution of programs.
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Skills Required
- 10 + years of experience & at least 5 + project management in Global Markets technology space.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale technology projects, with a focus on delivery, budget, and timeline
- Experience of risk change or regulatory projects like FRTB implementation & the understanding of market risk infrastructure including the data & methodology would be highly desirable
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid
- Experience with project management tools, such as MS Project, Asana, Jira, or Trello
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
