Based on a key MoD customer, the Technical / CAD Administrator will manage the technical document libraries, both electronic and hard copy, overseeing daily administrative operations to ensure full and continuous accuracy whilst supporting both team members and wider colleagues.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee and manage daily administrative operations.
- Organise, update, and maintain the department’s technical libraries- ensuring information is up-to-date and filed correctly.
- Work closely with site teams providing detailed MEP / map layout drawings to support NCRs, LCRs, RFIs and change notice projects.
- Assist in asset tagging exercises in conjunction with project managers to ensure new assets are correctly tagged and documented.
- Track, issue, receive, review, file and escalate when required all asset capture information and project delivery records.
- Record and update work log data sheets ensuring HDs (helpdesk tickets) are completed on time.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations for information management in a secure environment.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Proven experience in an administrative or equivalent role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Able to work onsite 5 days per week (required due to security reasons)
- Good written communication skills with an ability to provide documents and reports that are clear, precise and understandable when presenting data.
- Able to gain high level MoD security clearance - for this you will need to be a UK citizen who has resided in the UK for the past 10 years
- Ideally, experience in using CAFM databases (e.g. Concept Evolution) , or Ideally, within a drawing office using AutoCAD software - neither of these are mandatory
This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.
