The Technical Assistant will play a key role in developing integrity scopes for offshore assets, applicable to fixed, floating, and subsea assets, ensuring compliance with project industry standards and client requirements.
Working within a multi-discipline team, you will contribute to asset integrity management across the full project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, certifications, and qualifications, with a strong ability to deliver and collaborate effectively in a dynamic engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide Technical Support to the designated project team in relation to Engineering Services.
- Understand, own and deliver against TA duties associated with project specific processes and procedures.
- Prepare key project information and supporting documentation to support work pack development, RBI plans and WSE.
- Maintaining, populating databases such as COABIS and ACET and CMMS such as Maximo and various other information management tools.
- Provide support to the department to ensure the correct administration processes are followed in respect of technical issues and systems.
- Ensure all technical documentation is maintained to the highest level in accordance with the company’s commitment to quality management.
- Develop a good knowledge and understanding of inspection data management systems their theory, practice and use in integrity management.
- Support data-related engineering projects and perform activities related to data cleansing, extraction and quality checking as directed by engineering staff.
- Collate, organise and provide quality information for clients, which is readily accessible, easily interpreted and manipulated working under the instruction and guidance of engineering staff.
- Produce reports, work packs, implementation plans, progress reports and similar documents working under the instruction and guidance of engineering staff.
- Provide support and cover to other project team administrative activities as required from time-to-time.
- Performing all duties in accordance with the client’s operations management standards, safety management system and all relevant statutory instruments, codes, regulations.
Reporting & Compliance
- Correctly adhere to the Company Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental policies.
- Comply with all IMRANDD reporting requirements.
- Understand and comply with any project specific client-side reporting as required from time to time.
- Implement where necessary, appropriate levels of reporting and control to provide the information necessary to deliver work undertaken.
QHSE
- Contribute to IMRANDD’s QHSE policies where appropriate.
- Ensure all QHSE policies and regulations within service delivery are maintained and regularly reviewed.
- Ensure that all business is conducted in compliance with IMRANDD legal policies and standards.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of HNC/HND in an engineering discipline.
- Having demonstrated relevant Oil & Gas industry experience.
Additional Skills / Requirements
- Ability to interact with clients.
- Well-developed organisational skills.
- Ability to use Maximo, SAP, or similar software.
- Display a good basis in technical knowledge of common NDT techniques and their application within the integrity management project.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, Inspection Isometrics and identify key feature.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- The ability to work both independently and as a team player.
