Technical Auditor

To work as member of the audit team, carrying out audits and related aspects of compliance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Undertake technical audits of files for case managers as part of rolling audit programme and as part of fulfilling client audit requirements
• Additional and emergency audits according to business need as required
• Receiving and replying to questions raised by auditees or their team managers
• Keeping up to date with relevant law, practice and procedure in areas of work audited
• Assist Audit Manager and Head of Compliance as and when business needs demand
• Attend team meetings to cover R&C topics and raise the profile of the team

• Must be a team player
• Have attention to detail
• Show initiative and be self-motivated when required to work on own
• Strong organisational skills
• Have at least 3 years’ litigation experience in a busy legal environment
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines is essential
• Ability to see the bigger picture and adapt to change
• Good housekeeping skills
• A “hands on” approach to work
• Good IT skills
• Good communication skills
