WRc are actively recruiting for a
Technical Auditor to join the team, to help deliver and drive awareness of WRc Approved - (Water Industry - Engineering & Standards).
This is a
full time role, 37 hours per week based at our office in
Swindon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive approvals through the internal processes, obtaining and documenting all relevant data from the suppliers to reduce the approval process time for the client.
- Act as a generalist to help support the technical specialist in creating proposals for clients.
- Speak with Water Companies and product suppliers to widen the knowledge and awareness of WRc Approved and the benefits this brings.
- Undertake, witness testing, manufacturing and installation audits both nationally and internationally.
- Understanding and addressing client needs when designing solutions, while ensuring they meet agreed standards and best practices.
Person Specification:
- Motivated and proactive to drive approvals forward.
- Strong stakeholder/client management and engagement skills.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and build cross-functional teams to develop compelling value propositions.
- Background in the water industry, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or design engineering is preferable.
- Full UK manual driving license with access to own vehicle.
