Associate Vice President – AI Solutions Technical Analyst | Credit Fund

Location: London / Hybrid

A leading Credit Fund is seeking an Associate Vice President – AI Solutions Technical Analyst to join its growing AI team. This is a high-impact role focused on developing and deploying AI, automation, and analytics solutions that address complex challenges across the investment lifecycle.

Working closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and operations teams, you will help identify opportunities, prototype solutions, and deliver tools that directly influence multi-billion-dollar investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Consulting (60%)

• Collaborate with investment teams to identify opportunities for AI, automation, and analytics
• Deliver value through rapid prototyping and iterative development cycles
• Lead training sessions and workshops to support adoption across the business
• Drive a pragmatic, business-first AI strategy focused on reusable components and measurable impact

Technical Delivery (40%)

• Develop solutions using Python, SQL, Streamlit, FastAPI, and modern orchestration platforms
• Work with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, RAG architecture, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain
• Build reusable components to support scalable, future-ready AI workflows

Candidate Requirements

• 3+ years of production-level experience with Python and SQL
• Strong understanding of data analytics libraries (Pandas, NumPy), API development (FastAPI/Flask), and workflow automation (Airflow, asyncio)
• Practical experience with GenAI, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Familiarity with financial data APIs and market data integration

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to Azure AI Services or Azure Cognitive Search
• Frontend development experience, particularly with React
• Background in consulting, product management, or stakeholder-focused technical delivery
• Knowledge of credit markets or financial services (preferred, not required)
