Tasks

• Support the Tender Department in the creation of tender baseline reports.
• Maintenance and control of budgets and working estimates through the lifetime of construction and civil engineering projects.
• Monitoring of the costs and productivity.
• Creation of monthly project reports.
• Define and maintain key operational statistics.
• Analyse deviation from forecasts of cost and schedule.
• Take the lead in the development and communication of technical and cost-related management information, coordinating with other members of the project teams.
• Active participation in financial and performance reviews of completed projects..
  
  

Qualifications

• HND/Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related subject.
• Competent in the use of MS-Office products.
• An understanding of cost estimating software, ideally iTWO (training will be available).
• Experience in a suitable role in construction or engineering.
• Interested in commercial processes.
• Independent, analytical and result-orientated way of thinking and acting.
• Committed to professional delivery with accuracy and detail.
• High level of commitment and initiative.
