The role
As the Lead Technical Delivery Manager within TSG Delivery, you will play a central role in facilitating the successful delivery of technical projects across Railpen.
You will take ownership of delivering technical projects, workstreams and software solutions within the established TSG Delivery Governance framework, ensuring high‑quality outcomes that strengthen Railpen’s overall technical capability. Your work will span a wide variety of initiatives including software engineering, infrastructure uplift, security enhancements and business change technology workstreams.
You will manage and influence business stakeholders, technical teams and third‑party suppliers, ensuring alignment, clarity and momentum throughout the lifecycle of each project. You have a natural ability to create productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, taking time to understand their needs and ensuring delivery goals remain aligned with business objectives throughout each project. You are confident navigating delivery across diverse methodologies, selecting the right approach for the context and ensuring consistent standards are upheld.
Our values of integrity, community and alignment are the guiding principles that influence our behaviour. They help us make decisions and shape our relationships with others. They’re what we stand for. You will actively demonstrate our values, helping to create a safe environment, to place the needs of the community above oneself and, through a culture of ‘fair challenge’, align to the best interests of our members.
