Job Description
In this highly Partner-interactive role, the Consultant will be required to have a profound passion for software technology, continuously expanding their knowledge and maintaining an expert status within a fast-paced environment. The Sage Centre of Excellence is a dynamic organization that collaborates closely with partners. The Consultant must be highly motivated and possess a proactive, can-do attitude, along with an excellent understanding of complex technical activities and comprehensive knowledge of Sage application solutions.
The Consultant is a key member of the Centre of Excellence, responsible for providing product enablement, escalation support, pre-sales advice and support, maintaining and advising on project delivery processes/methodology, and fostering success and collaboration within the Sage community.
The Consultant’s direct responsibilities include offering expert advice on niche technical functionalities, supporting new partners in project planning, conducting enablement workshops, maintaining the delivery methodology toolkit, and providing support for escalation processes.
The Consultant may also provide feasibility assessments and estimates to meet partner requirements.
As Sage Intacct expands into other regions, the consultant will be required to support and enable our internal regional consultants and delivery practices.
The Consultant possesses a thorough understanding of what it takes to achieve a positive Net Promoter Score (NPS) from partners.
This is a Hybrid role with three days per week in our Newcastle office
Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Sage assigned solution configuration and implementation processes to deliver Expert enablement to partners.
- This will be through formal education, hands on experience and through self-study.
- Deliver technical workshops and enablement sessions to partners & peers.
- Provide second-line technical implementation support for partners.
- Create and maintain delivery documentation.
- Share best practice recommendations with Partners, ensuring an optimal use of technical configurations.
- Provide input to Sage Product Development and Product Management
- Informing partners of product change and release
Requirements
- Ability to work well with others and independently.
- Self-directed and self-motivated with a demonstrated work ethic and ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to gather, analyse and interpret data to support customer requirements whilst working within fast paced timescales.
- Ability to communicate verbally and written in a clear, concise and professional manner using appropriate grammar, style and language to a wide range of people.
- Relationship Management skills including influencing, managing expectations and the ability to deal with difficult situations.
- Excellent customer centricity.
