DAM Technical Engineer (Digital Asset Management)

Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Job Description
As a DAM Technical Engineer, you will be involved in designing, developing, and implementing various DAM solutions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging digital experiences and support the technical execution of DAM projects.
Experience:
- Experience in software development, with a focus on Adobe Experience Manager, OpenText or Aprimo DAMs.
- Proficiency in AEM 6.x or newer, AEMaaCS, OpenText and Aprimo including deep knowledge of components, templates, and workflows.
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Experience with RESTful web services and API integration.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Understanding of content management systems and digital marketing concepts.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Development: Participate in the development of AEM, OpenText or Aprimo solutions, ensuring quality and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work with UX/UI designers, content strategists, and other developers to create and update web content and applications.
- Component Creation: Develop custom components, templates, and workflows within AEM, ensuring the technical feasibility of designs.
- Integration: Assist in integrating our DAM implementations with third-party services and APIs to enhance functionality.
- Optimization: Help optimize applications for speed and scalability, and participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, conducting analysis to implement solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest DAM features, industry trends, and technologies
Preferred skills/experience
- AEM certification(s) is a plus.
- OpenText certification(s) is a plus.
- Aprimo certification(s) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Agile software development environments.
- Experience with code quality tools.
- Java, Node.js, CS
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
