Your Role And Responsibilities
IBM is seeking a seasoned and accomplished Technical Lead to join our team and take charge of leading complex public sector government projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing development teams, overseeing on-premise and AWS environments, and driving successful project outcomes. This role requires not only deep technical expertise but also strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure cloud applications on AWS.
- Develop full-stack applications using front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend technologies (Node.js, Java, Python, or similar).
- Architect, implement, and optimize cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, and CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Optimize application performance, security, and reliability following industry best practices.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership on AWS and full-stack development.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS and full-stack development trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Experience in full-stack application development with expertise in AWS cloud services.
- Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
- Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures or relevant domain specific architectures and patterns.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of authentication, security best practices, and scalability in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
