Transport Exchange Group (TEG) is looking for a highly experienced Technical Lead – FinTech (Java) to join our Finance Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide both strategic and technical leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software while driving innovation and team performance.

Responsibilities:
As Technical Lead, you will own the technical direction of the Finance Engineering team, guiding architecture, delivery, and development best practices:
Technical Leadership
Collaboration & Mentorship
Skills and Experience Required:
10+ years of commercial experience building Java-based applications in B2B or B2C SaaS environments
At least 2+ years in a technical leadership role, with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams
At least 2+ years working on FinTech or payments-related platforms
Seasoned experience with:
Strong understanding of:
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to clearly articulate technical topics to both peers and non-technical stakeholders

Compensation package from £90,000, dependent on experience.
